    Text for search is recognized on your iPhone. To extract structured details, the document is sent securely for AI processing and isn’t stored afterwards.

No vague promises. Here’s what stays on your phone, what leaves it and why — straight from our Privacy Policy.

Stays on your iPhone

  • Your catalog — documents, notes, categories and extracted text — is stored only on your device.
  • No account or sign-up. We don’t keep a database of your records.
  • Text for search is recognized on-device with Apple’s Vision framework.

Sent only to process

  • When you scan or import a new document, it’s uploaded to our recognition service and structured by Amazon Bedrock in Frankfurt (EU).
  • When you use AI Chat, your question is sent the same way with the text of all your records — extracted details, recognized text and notes, not just the ones relevant to your question. Never images or files.
  • Our backend and AWS don’t keep a copy once the result is returned, and none of it is used to train AI models.

Never

  • We don’t sell your data or use your health information for advertising.
  • Crash reports and usage analytics never include your documents, their text or patient details.
  • Payments are handled by Apple — we never see your card details.

Keep your originals. There are no backups: deleting the app, or losing your phone, erases your records. You can delete any record in the app at any time.
